Prayer Request for Beau

In case you hadn't heard, my fraternity brother and past/present/future roommate (briefing, here in japan, next year at AGO) Beau ruptured a ligament on Saturday. He was playing basketball with some of the guys since it was our first free day, and I guess he just played one too many games... He went to the emergency room and found out that, praise God!, there was no break/fracture. I went over to the hospital to help translate, and helped figured out his payment and such (which is SO much harder than expected... medical terms are killer!), which was cool.


But it is a fractured ligament and even though he won't need a cast, he does have a brace an is on crutches for the next three weeks.



We've all been praying over it and apparently it's healing fairly well, but it's very frustrating for Beau as he has to crutch around Tokyo. He's got such a great attitude about it, though! He realizes that God is taking control of his ministry, and that any expectations that Beau had about how to serve Him have been thrown out the window. God is teaching each and every one of us how to better rely on Him, and how to be stripped of our own plans, and I guess He's teaching Beau those things through this injury. Please keep him in your prayers, that the ankle would heal, and that his ministry would only be strengthened by this experience. :)
